Discussion:
disappearing shared calendar event

Using Outlook 2000 corporate/workgroup edition. Also
using exchange 2000 with sp3.
Delegate creates meeting request, sends it to 5 recipients
and all 5 respond with acceptance to meeting. Meeting
displays itself on manager's shared calendar. Delegate
prints out calendar night before event occurs. Next
morning, event has 'disappeared' from manager's calendar.
The recipents still have event on their respective
calendars. Asked delegate & manager to check deleted
items but event was not there. Delegate and manager
stated that they did not delete or move to deleted items.
I tried to duplicate the problem with my own calendar, but
was unable to "make the item disappear."
Does anyone know why this would occur?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Kevin,

Check to see if you are scanning your M drive with your anti-virus. This
can cause this issue to occur.

Boy, I really wish we were scanning drive M with file and
disk anti virus software, but we're not. We're using
Trend for exchange to scan mailboxes only.
Did you find any other articles? I couldn't locate any
other info on this anomaly. Thank you.
